Capitalism is unbalanced.
Communism is balanced (only in theory).

Unbalanced is way more fun. If you’re smart(know how to exploit people) and work hard you can have more money than others.

Simple luxuries are the the same for everyone, as is poverty & wealth.

We are all the same yet different individuals. We have same basic needs such as air, food, water, clothing, shelter, security, pursuit of happiness, Liberty, attention & Love. Even those basic needs can vary according to the individuals.

The imballance I believe is rooted in many causes.
Lack of honesty is one that comes to mind. If one is dishonest with ones needs, one might desire more only because his neighbor seems to have more. If one believes that there is a limited suppy then out of desparation one might hoard the surplus. If one is just plain greedy it is because of the need to be number one at the expense of others.

The “ruling powers” are not honest with the Earth citizens. For instance, remember when the various nations sent ships to claim the North Pole. Is that not the propertyu of us all here on Earth?

Besides, what sense does it make to clain either freezing water or melting ice?

The imbalance within the self causes ones ego to be vain-glorious. The lure of being number one or only one is beguiling. Such imbalance causes the lack of compassion.

It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.

Beware of those whom would have you to believe that there is not enough, because they are the ones eatuing butter while rationing margarine to you, whether you prefer it or not.

If some people intend to live forever where will they obtain the spare parts??

Perhaps the most important cause are laws that protect the ownership of private property.

Because when people can accumulate property without the fear that someone will arbitrarily take it away from them. Then some people will naturally accumulate more property than others. Either because they are more healthy and more willing and able to work. Or because they have some skills that many other people don’t have.

There are many reasons why people have conflicts with each other. And inequality of wealth is only one of such reasons. Perhaps the rules and the laws are not perfect. And some people are able to take advantage of others. Which leads to conflict.
