With two socialist candidates on the ballot, isn’t that tantamount to a one-party election with two candidates?

Has the GOP been silently murdered?

Does America no longer have a choice to vote for a candidate offering smaller government, fewer government programs, a return to Constitutional government, greater wealth-creation opportunity for the individual and a return to common sense governance?

Have “WE” become “THEM”?

I would prefer 4 or 5 viable options myself, but still, 2 is better than 1. I don’t think it has gotten to that point. Granted McCain is not a good pick for Conservatives. He is still much farther to the right than Obama. Even a Centrist like McCain, appears conservative when compared to Obama.

He or she who has the most money is the one elected.

Yes in theory anyone can run for president but if me or you were to run we would have no chance.

Well i think your a little little paranoid we are not becoming THEM, you have to stop being so afraid of socialism you have to remember it was created to make things equal and fair so the idea of socialism is good its just that in practice it’s a mess.

We need a strong third party. But looking at the presidential election as a place to introduce it is not the way.

We need to start small. City and county governments at first then states. Build up a voice slowly and people will start to listen, yell all at once and you will frighten people away.

No we have not. “We” have other choices – not to vote for either of two candidates, or wait and see who they are going to take with them as VPs. That is what I am waiting for.

Other expression: choose lesser of two evils? but in any case be a good citizen and VOTE, if not – don’t complain.

McCain isn’t socialist. No socialist wants to privatize social security and get rid of abortion. Obama isn’t socialist, either. America is just really, really conservative compared to other countries. Look at the European countries, like Norway and Sweden. If we had all of their candidates on our ballots, they’d all be labeled commies here. Yet we don’t think of those nations as communist nations.

Plus, there are more than 2 choices on the ballot. There are at least 4, including Independent and Green. (and Libertarian, I think?)

Excellent listing. A star for you.

Your post about describes it. We have a Liberal and a terrorist running for office. Both embrace illeagals with open arms and an open arms policy.

I am pro-life so I have only one choice available to me this time. I am not sure “WE” the People, are anymore!

You got a pretty good point. But I think we have two fascist parties rather than two socialist parties. So IMO yeah we have become THEM and they have become US as the same time.
