You go to Target, find the computers where you apply for a job, and then pick up the red phone that's right next to the computer. The application takes around 30-40 minutes or longer... It's VERY long. After you're done, pick up the red phone and tell them you've completed the job application. Soon someone will come to you and take you to the team room where they interview people. So basically, they interview you on the same day you've applied.. There are 3 interviews in total. 2 the first day, and the 3rd one a few weeks later (if you've been qualified so far). I'm a cashier at target and I go to school. I don't work much hours and they deal with that.. so it'll be okay. Just put on a good 1st impression & dress red and khaki! I've never had a job experience either and now I'm a cashier. Good luck! xx

I applied to Target about three weeks ago and I'm now a full-time sales floor associate (hardlines). My training was about two weeks, but I know that Target is a great company to work for. I know where you're coming from about the student loans, I graduated from technical school with only a month to find a job and pay the loan amount, so don't freak. Just apply online (I believe it's in-store only) and give your best impression through the applications and in person. I know for a fact that the Target Assest Protection is pretty lame, but whatever floats your boat. At times I feel the urge to slap the shit out of our own store security guard because they are so lazy and think they have so much authority. Lol. But that's beside the point, apply online, do your best with everything, and all should go well. Keep trying if your denied.
