Yeah, actually when I was watching this, a little more than half way through I was thinking about the whole Cash for Clunkers program. You are totally right. It’s a program that is totally based on debt. It takes perfectly good vehicles that people like myself would be glad to have and destroys them. It uses funds that are borrowed to pay the person buying the new car, thus impoverishing the nation, and it encourages more debt because most people borrow to buy new cars. Such lunacy!
