Can you make money from making a game mod from something like half-life 2 or is there some sort of legal barrier to doing that? I know that it’s a lot easier to make game mods than making game from scratch, and I was just wondering if you could make money selling mods. Thanks!

I think you must contact the game company,like Valve, and ask them if they are interested in your MOD. Or you can put up a website and sell your MODs online. If you are really good at creating MODs, I think the word would spread fast and people will visit your website.
